DeSantis Issues Statewide Stay-At Home Order to Curb COVID-19

Gov. Ron DeSantis said he will be signing an executive order for people to stay at home due to COVID-19 to be effective at 12 a.m. on April 2. This stay at home order will be effective for 30 days. 

  • The order will “limit movements and personal interactions outside the home,” DeSantis said.
  • Only essential services will be allowed to operate. 
    • A list of essential services will be released 
    • If some businesses are essential, they can be added to the list.
