Stetson COVID-19 Updates – 3/23: Library is closing their doors to students
Today, March 23, at 1:35 p.m., Susan M. Ryan, Dean of the Library and Learning Technologies, sent an email to the Stetson Community.
The following was addressed:
- The Library doors will close as of today, at 8 p.m.
- The university continues to follow the guidance coming from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida Department of Health.
- Following recent restrictions on libraries throughout Florida, for the health and safety of our community, the duPont-Ball Library will be moving to virtual services effective tonight at 8 p.m.
The library plans to continue to support students, faculty, and staff by offering library services:
Available:
- Monday – Friday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Saturday: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Sunday: 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Request Physical Items for Pickup
- Locate the item in OneSearch
- Use the Request Item – Place Hold button (OneSearch tab)
- Pickup is available at Library Front:
- Monday – Friday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday – Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- The 24/7 Computer Lab on the Library Ground Floor is open to users but requires card swipe to enter.
