Corona College Episode 6: Student Workers
April 30, 2020
Episode Description:
On this episode of Corona College, we’re talking to student employees about how COVID – 19 has affected their ability to work on campus and what it’s been like being a student worker during a global pandemic. Your host this episode is Hannah Zeller, a junior at Stetson who works with technical services in the DuPont Ball Library. Along with co-host René Campbell, a junior who worked as a clerical assistant for the English department office, we were able to sit down with Daniel Levins, a junior who works at the on-campus bookstore in retail services, and Calista Headrick, a sophomore and my coworker in technical services in the library, to discuss our experiences working during the COVID-19 crisis.
The students of Stetson University’s Journalism Studio Spring 2020 class have come together to give you Corona College. In our best effort to represent students from each student population we have created a six-episode podcast to open up the discussion about how COVID-19 has completely disrupted our college experience. You’ll hear from commuters, international students, athletes, greek life affiliates, and student employees. We have created a platform for students to be emotional and honest about this unprecedented experience.
