Pollination — The Art of Citizen Science
Today, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Gillespie Museum, there will be an opportunity to observe diverse pollinators in Volusia Sandhill Ecosystem. The event contains a unique, creative twist. There will be cultural credit available.
Creative Arts Department Senior Exhibition II
Graduating seniors are presenting their capstone projects in the Hands Art Center Libby Gallery today from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm. This event showcases the hard work and creativity of our graduating seniors. Cultural Credit is available for this event.
Oscar Bluemner Spring Exhibition
The Hand Art Center will be presenting selected pieces from post-modernist, Oscar Bluemner today from 11:00 am to 6 pm. The works have been selected from his Vera Kouba Bluemner Collection and are recognized for their vivid colors and lively scenes. Cultural Credit is available.
Florida’s Calcite
The Gillespie Museum will be hosting a hands-on, self-guided tour of Florida’s most commonly-collected mineral, calcite, today from 10 am until 4 pm. This examination offers insight of Florida’s unique geological features. Cultural Credit is available.
