Florida’s Calcite
Come out to a self-guided tour and hands-on examination of Florida’s unofficial mineral, calcite. The tour runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Gillespie Museum. Cultural credit is available for this event.
Defining Masculinity
There will be a faculty-facilitated conversation around Masculinity and related topics such as: What is masculinity? How is it portrayed in the media, society, and behavior? The discussion will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Sage Hall 222. Cultural credit is available for this event.
Sullivan Spring Poetry Reading
Terri Witek’s newest work, The Rape Kit, will be launching with readings from MFA alumni and faculty, including Lucianna Chixaro Ramos, Michelle Pavonne, Teresa Carmody, and Terri Witek. The event runs from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Rinker Welcome Center. Cultural Credit is available for this event.
Uncouth Hour
Join us tonight at 9:30 p.m. in Lee’s Garage in the CUB for Uncouth Hour, Stetson’s own open mic night. Students are welcome to attend and to perform their poetry, music, and other kinds of art. Cultural Credit is available for this event.
