Science Café: Calcite in Florida/Three Geologists
Renowned geologists Tom Scott, Harley Means, and Sam Upchurch will be in the Gillespie Museum from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to discuss Florida calcite and the geological processes which led to its creation. Cultural Credit is available for this event.
21st Century Painting – artist talk by Michael Katz
Michael Katz, and adjunct professor of Art will present on his work. Katz describes the event as a discussion of “how and why I use a 21st century visual digital medium as a tool for my painting practice.” The talk will be held in the duPont-Ball Library room 25L from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Cultural Credit is available for this event.
