Miyazaki Film Series
Dr. Christopher D. Jimenez is leading a 3-film lecture series on ecocriticism and war in Hayao Miyazaki’s films, including Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle, and Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. The lecture will be held in the Lynn Business Center 108 from 7 to 10 P.M. Cultural credit will be available!
“A Plastic Ocean” Movie Night
“A Plastic Ocean” documents the newest science, proving how once plastic enters the ocean, it breaks up into small particles that enter the food chain where they attract toxins like a magnet. These toxins are eventually consumed by us. The viewing will be in Sage Hall 213 from 7 to 9:30 P.M. Cultural credit will be available!
