Homecoming’s Comedian: Jay Pharoah!

SNL alumnus Jay Pharoah is coming to Stetson! On Thursday, November 1st, Pharoah will be performing in the Edmunds Center as part of this year’s Homecoming festivities.

Pharoah began his comedy career at 15, performing in local comedy clubs and community theatres. He  is most well-known for his impressions, particularly his Barack Obama, Will Smith, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Eddie Murphy, Charlie Murphy, Chris Rock, Kanye West, Stephen A. Smith, and Denzel Washington impersonations.

He was hired as a featured player on Saturday Night Live in 2010, where many of his popular impressions were highlighted until 2016. IN 2014 he starred alongside Ice Cube and Kevin Hart in the film Ride Along.

Most recently, Pharoah has been working on his first rap album with producer Myles William.

Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m! Admission for Stetson students is FREE with Stetson ID and $10 for community members and alumnae. For community members and alumnae tickets can be bought either at the door or online at bit.ly/hococomedy .
